Originally from Los Angeles, Leigh Tranchi studied at the Art Institute of California and earned a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. With a passion for art and design, she focused on layout and packaging developement in the publishing and toy industries. She worked on major brands including Neopets, Spongebob, Pokemon, Bratz, Shrek, and Littlest Pet Shop.
In her free time, she became a volunteer art mentor to underprivileged youth, and later served as a Peace Corps volunteer. On the small island nation of St. Vincent & the Grenadines, she implemented creative arts and youth development initiatives in the community, created an online photography exhibition and fundraising photo book of student work, and provided art direction and design for Peace Corps' Eastern Caribbean publication amongst other projects.
Tranchi is currently a freelance designer and illustrator, with clients ranging from independent creative and music professionals to local start-ups and small businesses.
